The Surry Hills Markets are a must-visit for all – ask the locals! Vintage fashion, valuable antiques, books, hand-made beauty products and designer labels – our markets have it all. We specialise in handmade, second-hand and recycled goods. We are open regardless of the weather, and over Christmas and New Year the normal schedule is maintained.
On the day you can take a break from shopping and enjoy delicious treats at the Surry Hills Community Cafe. Our café is a unique addition to the strip of trendy Crown st cafes and eateries. The Café is run by volunteers and aims to provide fresh home-style food accessible to al. We have a range of sweet and savoury meals to choose from, including such classics as Devonshire teas and Vienna coffee. Simply cross the road and go up to Level 1 (stairs or lift) of the Surry Hills Library and Community Centre. We are family-friendly, so bring the kids!
The Markets are an essential fundraiser. Supporting Surry Hills Markets and the Cafe you are helping Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre to deliver valuable services to the disadvantaged members of our community.
