Information
The Avalon Film Festival will be held in Avalon Beach from 29 Nov - 1 Dec, showing films related only to the Avalon community.
Many of the films are made by or feature locals.
The festival will open with a world Premiere of ‘The Restraint’, by local Academy Award-winning Director, David Denneen. Originally produced in 2006 and starring Travis Fimmel and Teresa Palmer, Denneen has recut and regraded the film.
Locals Margaret Pomeranz and Neil Armfield will provide insights on screenwriting prior to the showing of Neil’s film, Candy.
