Led by young Canadian conductor Nicolas Ellis in his Sydney Symphony debut, superstar Japanese pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii also takes centre stage with Rachmaninov’s virtuosic Third Piano Concerto, marking his return to the Sydney Opera House for the first time since 2017.
