Debut Australian tour by the iconic Russian underground bands SHORTPARIS.
Hailing from Saint Petersburg, SHORTPARIS is widely celebrated as one of the most exciting experimental bands emerging from Russia today. They have performed in an array of venues- from Saint Petersburg strip clubs to Berghain, opened for the likes of The Kooks, alt-J, and Lebanon Hanover as well as gracing the stages at Haldern Pop, OFF Festival, Pop-Kultur Berlin, and The Great Escape in Brighton, England.
The band’s sound is difficult to categorise. Combining elements of post-punk, electronic, and avant-garde, they put on a complex performance showcasing intense vocals and theatrical stage presence.
