Information
Opening on International Women’s Day, Napangardi Sisters is a tribute to two extraordinary female Warlpiri artists, Dorothy Napangardi and Judy Watson Napangardi. Though deeply connected to their ancestral country, Mina Mina, each artist developed a unique visual language - Dorothy with her mesmerising, minimalist dot work, and Judy with her bold, dynamic compositions.
This rare exhibition offers museum-quality works showcasing their artistic legacies, from large-scale pieces to intricate details of Warlpiri storytelling.
